COMMERCIAL FIBERGLASS FLAGPOLES
Fiberglass has many features. Provides long-lasting beauty because the hard, glossy polyester surface resists soiling. scratching and will not rust or corrode. Fiberglass poles are the least expensive way to obtain a traditional white pole. Also available in bronze is a non-conductor, no grounding is required; thus installation is easy and inexpensive. Our flagpoles are manufactured from a custom formulated unidirectional fiberglass roving and polyester resin. This special roving allows us to fabricate more than 75% on the reinforcing glass fiber vertically to maximize rigidity and axial strength. Others use fiberglass cloth which is inherently weaker than roving. The extremely hard, glossy finish of our poles is a high build, modified polyester surface which provides unequalled beauty and maximum durability.SPECIFICATIONS

Commercial Steel Flag Poles
Both external and internal halyard flagpoles
are fabricated from all new seamless steel tubing. Diminishing section,
welded together, form a graceful tapered appearance. Although sizes
below are most commonly used, we can fabricate other sizes to any specifications.

| Ball
- 14 Ga. aluminum with flush seam. Gold Anodized furnished
unless otherwise specified or choose Clear Anodized (Silver) or finished
to match shaft.
Truck- heavy-duty, external halyard, non-fouling, revolving-type with 26 stainless steel ball bearing. Finished to match shaft. Halyard - standard equipment includes one waterproof, mildew and U.V. resistant nylon halyard with wire center. Cleat - heavy-duty cast aluminum finish to match shaft. Secured with two stainless steel, flat-head, tamper-proof machine screw. Collar - ornamental base or flash collar of spun aluminum with a diameter of at least 1" larger than foundation sleeve. Foundation Sleeve - 16 Ga. corrugated steel tubing with lighting spike, base plate, support plate and centering wedges. Above fitting are included as standard equipment on all Diminishing Section Flagpoles with External Halyards. As with all of our Flagpoles lines, optional accessories are available. Finish- all
of our steel Flagpoles are mechanically cleaned and chemically etched to
provide a smooth surface. Two coats of two part polyurethane primer
are applied before application of two polyurethane finish coats.
Specify custom or one of these standard colors: Aluminum (Silver),
Light Bronze, Medium Bronze, Dark Bronze, Black or White.

Ball-
(optional) - 14 Ga. aluminum with flush seam. Choose Gold Anodized,
Clear Anodized (Silver) or painted to match shaft.
Truck - heavy-duty, internal halyard, non-fouling, revolving-type with 26 stainless steel ball bearing. Finished to match shaft. Halyard - standard equipment includes on stainless steel aircraft cable complete with proper size flag arrangement, shock spring , counterweight, beaded retainer ring and flag snaps. Winch- new, improved winch, mounted inside shaft, is operable only by a removable crank handle. Gearless and self-locking at any point, it eliminates the need for a separate brake. New direct-drive permits rapid raising and lowering of flag with little effort. As stainless steel cable unwinds from winch, it passes up through the shaft, over truck sheave to the outside of the shaft where retainer sling provides a sliding anchor. Counterweight, heavily coated with neoprene, attached to retainer sling allows halyard to be lowered for fastening or removing flag. Then, halyard is raised completely out of reach of vandals. Collar - ornamental base or flash collar is spun aluminum, with a diameter of at least 1" larger than foundation sleeve. Above fitting are included as standard equipment on all Diminishing Section Flagpoles with internal Halyards. As with all of our Flagpoles lines, optional accessories are available. Recommendation: flagpoles above 100' exposed height should be quipped with an internal halyard system to aid in raising and lowering larger flags.
